WANA (Apr 01) – Sergei Ryabkov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, has announced Moscow’s readiness to help foster constructive dialogue between Tehran and Washington regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

According to International Affairs Magazine, Ryabkov warned that a potential U.S. attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities could have “catastrophic consequences” for the region. He stressed that there is still an opportunity to reach an agreement and that this chance should not be wasted.

Referring to Tehran’s stance, the Russian official stated, “Our Iranian colleagues have clearly expressed their reactions. Now, while there is still time, we must strive for a reasonable agreement.”

Ryabkov’s remarks come amid rising tensions over Iran’s nuclear program and growing speculation about possible U.S. military action.
